A quick and easy DIY, a Poly Ribbon Bow will add a whole lot of shine to your gift wrapping with minimal effort.

You will need:
Wrapping Paper (we used Large Gold Dot)
Gold Foil Poly Ribbon (also available as Red, Copper & Silver)
Scissors
Ruler
Double-sided Sticky Tape

Step 1. Wrap your gift and create a centre band of Poly Ribbon around the middle of your present. Secure together at the back of your present using double-sided tape.

Step 2. Cut four lengths of Poly Ribbon to the same length. These will determine the size of your bow. We have used 30cm lengths.

Step 3. Gently loop over one of your lengths of Poly Ribbon and secure together with double-sided tape.

Step 4. Using a small piece of double-sided tape, stick the inside top and bottom of the loop together in the centre to create a 'figure 8' style double loop. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you have done all four lengths of your Poly Ribbon.

Step 5. Create a cross with two of your loops and secure together in the centre with your tape. Repeat with the other two loops to create two crosses.

Step 6. Secure the two crosses together in the centre (with one twisted to 45 degrees).

Step 7. Cut a small length of Poly Ribbon (we used a 13cm piece) and create a single loop. Secure this to the middle of your two crosses to cover where they join.

Step 9. Secure your finished Poly Ribbon Bow to the centre band on your gift.

Now the fun part: go and give your completed gift to your loved one and watch their face light up!
