THE INKY CO. STORY

Inky Co. is a new Melbourne based stationery and gift wrapping online store launched in 2011 by honours graduate and graphic designer, Chloe, in collaboration with her graphic designer mum, Carolyn.

Growing up surrounded by design fostered a strong sense of creativity in Chloe. In her early teens she began designing patterns for her parents company. When it came time to choose a career, graphic design was the natural choice.

Through her years of study, Chloe had a dream of starting up her own socially and environmentally responsible business. With the support of her friends, family and a heritage of 15 years in the gift wrapping industry behind her, Inky Co. was launched.

The Inky Co. philosophy is to design and manufacture in Melbourne using a combination of age old production techniques, like letterpress and flexographic printing, with environmentally friendly materials to produce beautiful Australian made products Chloe and Carolyn both love and love to use.
